On October 2nd, Troop 75 Kings Park and others offloaded about 2,300 pumpkins plus hundreds of small pumpkins and gourds. We do this to help out the Methodist Church because they let us use the church as our meeting place. Many scouts showed up that day. It was a hot day to be sitting in a truck passing pumpkins or carrying them. We were given drinks and snacks. We all had fun pushing the hay off the truck and jumping into it. We finished in a matter of hours. Also on November 1st during our meeting we carried all of the leftover pumpkins out to the woods. The church was very appreciative.
